1. All applicants complete the Petscreening process whether or not they own a pet or have an assistance animal or ESA. All Fair Housing guidelines are followed to collect the appropriate supporting documentation.
2. FIDO Scores – all animals receive a FIDO score and a pet resume with the documentation to support their residency, including any incidents involving the animal. The report is transferable to future properties.
3. How is this service free to properties? Applicants and existing residents at renewal pay a nominal pet application fee. There is no fee for reasonable accommodation assistance animals or ESA animals.
4. PetScreening has the country's largest database of pet incidents, and its software integrates with all major property management software systems.
